Running on Empty?

“Indeed, we have all received grace upon grace from His fullness” (John 1:16, emphasis added).

Do you ever feel in life like you are just running on empty? 

John 1:16 tells us, “Indeed, we have all received grace upon grace from His fullness” (emphasis added).

From the fullness of Jesus:

• We receive spiritual life where once we were dead.
• We are showered with love and lavished with grace. 
• We are given new hope and new purpose..

Jesus fills us with love, hope, power, peace, grace, and life—because He Himself is the fullness of love, hope, power, peace, grace, and life. 

That means that from Jesus we don’t receive “just enough’ grace or “just enough” hope.  We receive an abundance! And that supply never runs out. It is endless and eternal, because Jesus, our Source, is endless and eternal.

So when we feel low on love, short on grace, or like we are running on fumes, let us run to Jesus.  Because Jesus not only supplies all we need—He HImself is all we need.
