“You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates” (Deuteronomy 6:9).
Sometimes we wonder … my life is a normal life, simple and unremarkable, so where can I serve God?
In our homes. To friends and guests when we meet them where they are and provide a safe haven to shelter in His love. To husbands when we encourage them to be the men God created them to be. When we love our children and speak His Word into their lives.
And in the world beyond our gates. When we take a meal to a grieving neighbor. When we serve the most vulnerable of our communities. When we offer a kind word to a world-weary stranger.
There is no limit to what our small, simple souls can do because there is no limit at all for the Loving God who works through us.
