Pause and Praise Week 4
“He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and burst their bonds apart” (Psalm 107:14).
It is good for the soul to simply sit in the presence of our God.
To praise Him.
To lift our eyes to HIs goodness.
To remember that He is God and we are not.
So today let us ponder our salvation offer up our gratitude.
Let us praise the name of Jesus.
Who else could have set us free?
Who else could have rescued us from the darkness?
Who else could have broken the chains of our sin?
No one. Only Jesus.
His is “the name above all names” (Philippians 2:9), and the only “name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
Yes, let us pause and praise.
