People are hurting. Their lives are messy.
Hiding our own messes from them doesn’t give them hope. Showing them Jesus in the midst of our mess does.
So let them know how Jesus walks through the mess with you, changes you in the midst of it, and is leading you to the other side.
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
