Sheltering in His Greatness

Pause and Praise Week 3

“Behold these are but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?” (Job 26:14).

We don’t need a god who fits in a box, who conforms to our impression of how he should be. 

We need a God bigger than what we can imagine. A God who whose power is so vast our finite minds cannot comprehend it. A God who is, and was, and always will be, and whose nature never changes.

We need a God who shelters our small, simple souls in the wings of HIs holy presence—a presence so filled with grace and power that it silences our every fear. 

A God whose love is so deep He sent His Son to rescue all who would believe.

There is only One. 

He is Yahweh, the LORD.

Pause and praise:
